WHAT IS CITRALIFT

CITRALIFT SOLVES THREE COMMON PROBLEMS IN SEWERAGE PUMP STATIONS AND TREATMENT OPERATIONS

PROBLEM 1: ODOURS

Citralift has been designed to only partially solubilize and therefore forms a floating “active deodorant” that slowly evaporates into the surrounding area to destroy and deodorize obnoxious odours. The pleasant orange citrus aromas make the work place more pleasant and eliminates neighbourhood complaints if pump stations are located in highly populated areas.

 LONG TERM ACTIVITY

Whilst natural, fully imported pump station maintainers have been used previously our research has developed a way of protecting the aroma longer, where it is in contact with oxidizing fat, vegetable and human waste. Its long term freshness and residually is not at the expense of biodegradability.

PROBLEM TWO: GREASE BUILD UP

Because Citralift liquefies grease build up automatically on walls, switchgear or float mechanisms with in the sump (unless the level has been static) your surface will never need to be manually pressure cleaned, deodorised or washed down prior to entering.

We estimate the floating Citralift formula concentrates 70% of its degreasing energy at the water line, to break up grease and sludge mats on the surface and on the walls. The remaining 30% emulsifies oily waste and is used up in the liquefying of the waste to assist its flow out of the pump station. With Citralift there can be no dead spots in the sump because of its dispersing power and lubricating qualities to the waste and metal surfaces.

PROBLEM THREE: DECREASED EQUIPMENT LIFE

On mechanically activated pump stations the acidic nature of some waste creates a severe environment for electrical, mechanical or static equipment. Our pH-stabilized formula provides continuous cleaning action and continual lubricating action to all parts in the system.

DIRECTIONS: DO NOT DILUTE CITRA LIFT

INITIAL DOSE: Spray in to the manhole with knapsack spray charged with Citralift. Apply to all areas that are not reached by the sewerage. This will give permanently cleaned area that will not recontamination.

The initial dose will be approximately 2 to 4 litres when the spray is used, to blast off old build up to run back into the sewerage below.

MAINTENANCE DOSE:

Depending on whether it is in high grease area will dictate the amount of Citralift and the frequency of additions. Usually 2 litres per week, per pump station, is enough for the system to work effectively.

FILTER SCREENS

To effectively clean filter screens at the treatment plant we recommend pre-spraying with Orange Solv water-soluble degreaser then pressure spray with water.
